Yucatán Dive Crew was created to share the incredible underwater world of Yucatán through safe, personalized, and professionally guided diving experiences.
From first-time divers to advanced training and cenote exploration, our mission is to help every diver experience these unique environments with confidence, curiosity, and respect.
We believe the best experiences happen in small groups, with local knowledge and a genuine passion for diving.

Yucatán Dive Crew was originally co-founded by Rodrigo Alcaraz and Michael Scott Quil, combining a shared passion for exploration, diving, and the cenotes of Yucatán.
MEET THE TEAM
Rodrigo Alcaraz
Founder & Lead Instructor
Oceanographer, professional diver, and cenote specialist with experience spanning recreational, scientific, technical, and commercial diving operations.
Rodrigo has spent years exploring and working underwater throughout Mexico, combining professional standards, local knowledge, and a passion for sharing the underwater world with others.
Romina González
Dive Professional & Guide
Romina helps create the welcoming and personalized atmosphere that defines YDC.
Whether assisting students, guiding certified divers, or helping guests feel comfortable in the water, she plays a key role in making every experience safe, enjoyable, and memorable.
